Our story starts in 2017. It was a time of new feelings, shy glances, and the simple joy of getting to know each other. From those first dates, a special connection sparked, laying the foundation for a love that was built to last. “Lin” and “Fu” were just two names, but they were already starting to write a story together.
In 2018, our love was put to the test. “Lin” was in Japan, and “Fu” was in Singapore. We became a long-distance relationship (LDRS) separated by thousands of miles and different time zones. But distance only made our hearts grow stronger. Through countless video calls, late-night texts, and “I miss you” messages, we proved that our bond was unbreakable, turning the distance into a testament to our commitment.
THE PROPOSAL
After years of patience and unwavering love, “Lin” flew to Singapore in 2023, not just for a visit, but for a purpose. In a moment that felt like a lifetime in the making, he got down on one knee and asked “Fu” the one question that would change their lives forever.
With tears of joy, “Fu” said “Yes!”—a simple word that sealed their promise to each other.
In the moment she said 'Yes,' my heart was full. I wasn't just a man in love; I was a man with a future.
In 2024, the distance disappeared. Lin moved to Singapore for good, and our ‘together forever’ finally began.
From that first date in 2017 to this very moment, our journey has spanned 8 years and 7 months. We’ve navigated distance, celebrated reunions, and built a love story that is uniquely ours.
Now, on November 17, 2025, we are overjoyed to stand before you, our dearest family and friends, as we finally say “I do.” This isn’t just the end of our long journey; it’s the beautiful, exciting beginning of our forever.
After all this time and distance, marrying you feels less like a choice and more like destiny.
